JAWS FEST was held on Martha's Vineyard,
June 3-5, 2005.

Returning to the Vineyard seven years after my first trip there in 1998 and stopping at one of my favorite sites on the Island; the bridge and estuary.

A few merchants brought out their original signage used for filming back in 1974.

JAWS author and co-screenplay writer Peter Benchley with co-screenplay writer Carl Gottlieb speaking at the Tabernacle in Oak Bluffs.

One of the biggest highlights of the weekend was to watch JAWS in a theater for the first time since I saw it in January of 1976. JAWS premiered at the Island Theater in Oak Bluffs back in 1975 and they ran it again twice on Saturday.

Clowning around with Islander Edith Blake, author of THE MAKING OF JAWS, a book I received for my 10th birthday back in 1975.

Posing with the replica Bruce head, now a permanent fixture on Martha's Vineyard.

JAWS Production Designer Joe Alves speaks and displays his artwork at The Old Whaling Church in Edgartown.
